20-Week Appointment and Sonogram

We had our 20-week doctor's appointment and sonogram on Wednesday. It was d-day for deciding if we wanted to know the sex. In my indecisive mind, I had decided that I wanted to just have her write it down on a sheet of paper and then I could make the decision later.

This, however, was not to be. She told me that she couldn't do that for us. If we are going find out, she has to show us the proof of why they say it is a boy or a girl. If we leave with a piece of paper, we wouldn't have that proof shown to us.

She pretty much forced my hand. So, continuing to be indecisive, I told Scott that he had to make the decision. I figured it was fair, since I decided that we wouldn't find out with Kenedy.

He decided that we need to know, though his justification was pretty weak. He supposedly decided that we need to find out so that he could know whether he could get rid of all of Kenedy's old clothes. (Like those 3 or 4 boxes are taking up sooooo much room in the attic!)

Anyway, so now we know. Baby #2 is a girl. Man, you guys were off in your predictions!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be grateful for...

We spent ours in San Marcos with Scott's family. A large and loud affair, as usual.

Happy Halloween!

Here are some pics of our first actual Halloween of "trick-or-treating." Kenedy was a fairy. If you know me at all, you'll know that this was NOT my idea. She would have nothing to do with any kind of animal or furry character costume this year. It was pretty much a fairy or a princess. I figured the fairy was the lesser of the two evils. : )

Pumpkin Patch

So we finally made it to the pumpkin patch for pictures on Oct. 30. Nothing like waiting to the last minute. I suppose better late than never. : )
Kenedy was all over the place, as you would expect. She found a white pumpkin she loved, so Aunt Audra bought it for her. She was very excited!

A week or so after our first appointment, I saw this shirt at Toys R Us while we were looking for a Halloween costume. I couldn't pass it up. Apparently, Kenedy likes bling...

8 Week Sono

For those of you who didn't know, on Friday, Sept. 21, I had my 8 week sonogram. Everything looked good. Nice strong heartbeat. Due date: May 4
